Vacancy for a Parish Councillor

1)      Notice is hereby given of a vacancy for a Councillor on Great Shefford Parish Council following the resignation of Councillor Eunice Tweedie.

2)    A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held if within 14 days[1] from the date of this notice ten electors for the parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer.

3)    The address of the Returning Officer is West Berkshire Council, Council Offices, Market Street, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 5LD

4) If no such notice is given the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
