Another householder targeted
Sometime between 14.00 and 17.00 on the 1st February an offender(s) have broken into a shed of a property on Wantage Road, Great Shefford. The offender(s) gained entry by forcing the door and stole a number of power tools(Crime no FB3516757/10) In order to help protect your shed consider:- 1.Positioning the garden shed as close to the house aspossible so it is visible 2.Avoid storing valuable items such as power tools, fishingtackle or golf clubs in a shed 3.Fit a strong hasp and staple. Lock the hasp over the staple with a closed shackled padlock 4.Secure shed door hinges with anti-tamper screws alsoknown as 'clutch head' screws that can be purchased from DIY stores or the internet 5.Paint your house number or postcode onto your valuablegardening equipment.
